In 1991, in a small storefront on Wall Street, Everett Huffman, a Korean War Vet,
opened Central Oregon Flag & Banner. Just selling flags of states, countries and
of the USA and flagpoles. The business grew quickly and soon needed more space
and more than one person running it. In 1993, Everett called in his daughter June.

The two of us (Everett and June) soon grew the company into making banners,
signs and decals. Eventually we even began making our own custom flags. Ready
to retire, Everett decided to sell the business. Gary, a Korean Vet during the
Vietnam era, and June bought the business in 1997.

Central Oregon Flag and Banner stayed in the family. Shortly after we purchased
the business, we brought our daughter in to help and the business has grown to
four generations. You may find all four generations in at one time, especially
during the summer months.
